Question 1

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Accepted Answer

It's not required. Most clients leave a key or an access code and head out to run their errands. Your cleaner takes care of everything and lets you know when they're done. Clients who work from home often step out for a walk in the park or to go shopping to avoid the noise of the vacuum.

Question 2

How does the cleaner get into my home?

Accepted Answer

Leaving a copy of the key is the preferred option — it allows more flexibility with arrival time, especially in case of traffic or unexpected delays. A key lockbox or an entry code work too. Access is arranged when you book.

Question 3

Can I skip or reschedule a visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can skip a scheduled visit by giving us at least 48 hours' notice. There's no charge for reschedules made 72 hours or more in advance. Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice may incur the full fee, since empty slots affect the cleaner's income.

Question 4

What time does the cleaner arrive?

Accepted Answer

Morning sessions usually start between 7 and 9 AM. Afternoon sessions begin between 12 and 1 PM. We generally don't take jobs after 6 PM. Weekends may have limited availability with advance booking.

Question 5

What if I have trouble with access to my home?

Accepted Answer

The most common reason a service can't be completed is lack of access. Be sure to arrange access in advance. Other situations that prevent the visit: unsafe or unsanitary conditions such as pests (cockroaches, fleas, rodents), needles, illegal drugs or accessible firearms.

Question 6

Can I have consistent cleaners at every visit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For recurring clients, Eagles Home Services assigns experienced cleaners who learn your home over time. Occasionally, substitutions are needed — in those cases, you're introduced to excellent backup cleaners.

Question 7

How is the cleaning price calculated?

Accepted Answer

The price is based on several factors: the size of the home (bedrooms and bathrooms), the number of residents, whether there are pets, the overall condition of the home, the service frequency and any add-ons selected. Provide accurate information in your estimate for the most precise quote.

Question 8

What is the 'Self Cleaning Rating'?

Accepted Answer

It's a self-assessment of how clean your home currently is. It helps estimate the skill level and experience the cleaner will need, and how long the cleaning may take. Be honest — it benefits you with a more accurate, surprise-free service.

Question 9

Does living near a neighbor who also uses the service lower the cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When cleaners serve nearby homes on the same day, travel is reduced and that can positively affect the cost. Let us know if you have an interested neighbor.

Question 10

How much should I tip the cleaner?

Accepted Answer

For recurring cleanings (weekly/biweekly/monthly), tips are usually $10 to $20 per visit. For larger cleanings such as deep or move-out, the standard is 20% of the total ($40 to $200). Tips and small gifts have a big impact on the cleaner's satisfaction and dedication.

Question 11

Why can the online estimate differ from the final price?

Accepted Answer

The online estimate uses several data points: size, bedrooms, bathrooms, number of residents, pets, home condition, age and surface type. Inaccurate information leads to less precise estimates. Describe your home honestly for the best result.

Question 12

What's included in a deep cleaning?

Accepted Answer

A deep cleaning is detailed and covers every area of the home (except the garage) with extra attention. Each room gets a thorough cleaning. For the full checklist, request it through the site.

Question 13

How often should I get a deep cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Once a year is recommended — usually in the spring (Spring Cleaning). It's also required for new recurring clients, establishing the baseline before regular maintenance visits.

Question 14

What's the difference between deep cleaning and move-in/move-out?

Accepted Answer

Move-in and move-out are as thorough as a deep cleaning, with extra add-ons: inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside cabinets and inside windows. For the best result, the home should be empty of furniture or belongings.

Question 15

Can grout and shower mold be completely removed?

Accepted Answer

Non-toxic products and reasonable scrubbing effort minimize surface stains, but won't fully remove mold or mildew that has penetrated grout or caulk. For a lasting fix, we recommend specialists in re-grouting and sealing — we can refer trusted companies.

Question 16

What about hard water and soap buildup on the glass shower?

Accepted Answer

Hard water and soap scum are treated with non-toxic cleaning products with as much effort as possible. For removal of severe mineral deposits, we recommend specific acid-based products twice a year — specialized consultants can perform that treatment.

Question 17

Do cleaners go through background checks?
